It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mary Ann Wilmoth Eddy, who died peacefully in her home during the early hours of June 12, 2023, at the age of 78.
Mary Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, who she adored so much.
Born on July 18, 1944, in Hagans, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha Wilmoth.
She worked for 37 years at Westinghouse/North American Phillips.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Wayne Eddy; children, Kathy Eakle (Tim), of Fairmont, Connie DeGirolamo (Chris), of Atlanta, Ga., and Nancy Summers (Keith Kucish), of Morgantown; grandchildren, Shane Eakle (Amber), James Eakle (Chelsea), Zachary Eakle (Samantha), Kaleb Eakle (Sarah), Malia Neville (Jordan), Valerie Summers (Travis Snider), Erik DeGirolamo, Matthew Summers and Elise DeGirolamo; sisters, Nancy Raspa (Frank), of Hagans, and Linda Crites (Tom), of Rivesville; as well as 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Michael; and by her brothers, Ken Wilmoth, Calvin Wilmoth and Don Wilmoth.
Her request for cremation is being honored by her family and there will be no public services.
