Robert “Bob” Allen Farley Jr., 67, of Cassville/New Hill community, passed away at home on Monday, June 5, 2023.
Bob was born in Morgantown Oct. 29, 1955, to Robert Farley Sr. and Kathryn Jean Farley.
Bob graduated from University High School in 1973, where he was a member of the wrestling team. He worked as a coal miner at Humphrey #7 and later at Loveridge #22, as an electrician and mechanic. He enjoyed golfing, hanging out at “Mike’s Garage” and catching up with friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob is survived by his son-in-law, Josh Jones of Morgantown; granddaughter, Lily Kay Jones; brother, Mark Farley; and his daughter’s mother, Marleen Hunt.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Jones; and his sister-in-law, Debbie Farley.
Visitation will be at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, and again from 10 a.m. on Friday, until the 11 a.m. funeral service at McCulla Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
