Based in Los Angeles, she lived in Manhattan Beach for many years, then moving to Palm Desert and recently to North Carolina.

She traveled widely throughout the world, which she greatly enjoyed. Ann was also devoted to her beloved dogs.

In addition to her sister, Carol Alys Yoder (William), she is survived by brothers, Daniel Dorsey (Ruth), David Dorsey (Sherry); sister, Jean Karlson (Douglas); two stepsons, Jeffrey (Mithu) and Joshua Sherin; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Her oldest brother, John (Mary) was deceased on April 15, 2023.

Ann will always be remembered for her fun-loving and kind-hearted spirit. She lit up every room she entered.

Service arrangements are pending. A memorial service for Ann and Jim is being planned for mid-summer of this year at Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Details will follow.
