Margaret McCarty, 72, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1950, the daughter of the late F. G. Robertson and Deloris Burnside Robertson.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
A private family committal service will take place at a later time at Pisgah Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Kenneth P. McCarty and her husband’s parents and brother, Melvin McCarty.
While flowers will be invited to be received, memorial donations may be made to Amedysis Hospice MidAtlantic, 5006 MidAtlantic Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508.
