Brenda Katherine Herd, 49, of Morgantown departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
She is survived by her sister, Laura Hager, of Morgantown; nephew, Dane Hager, of Pittsburgh; stepfather, Charles Nagy, of Morgantown; and her beloved fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald A. Herd and Connie Lee Herd-Nagy, and sister, Sherry Lee Herd.
Brenda was able to donate organs that will provide life and health to others. Many thanks to the Ruby Memorial CORE and NCCU staff for their tender care during a difficult time.
Those wishing to honor Brenda’s memory may donate to their local animal adoption center.
