Bryan Douglas Wolfe, 63, of Belington, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at Mon Health Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 18, 1959, in Monongalia County to Virginia “Sally” Wolfe, of Morgantown, who survives him, and the late Harry Wolfe.
Bryan was united in marriage to Frauline Michelle Wolfe, who survives. Also, Bryan is survived by six daughters, Caressa, Ashley, Amy, Anastacia, Deadra and Wendy; his son, Bryan II; one sister, Nancy; one brother, Aaron Wolfe; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as their children.
Bryan was medically retired from the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant in August of 1989 and moved home to West Virginia. He attended Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree.
Bryan loved being with his family and sharing his love of the outdoors on his farm in Philippi. He is missed by his loved ones but will always be remembered by the legacy they carry forward and the love they share for each other. The time spent with him will forever be cherished, and his memory will be shared long after he’s gone.
Friends may join the family to honor Bryan’s life and legacy at Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Road, Morgantown, from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16. Interment with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
