Frank Dale Long, 63, of Masontown, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at Preston Memorial Hospital. He was born April 27, 1959, in Fort Belvoir, Va., a son of Nancy Long and the late John Long.
Frank was a hardworking man of many trades. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was known by many, had numerous close friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, John F. Long and wife Nichole, Matthew Long and Justin Long and longtime girlfriend Ashley Shillingburg; brother, Michael Long and wife Stacey; sister, Lori Meek and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Madison, John, Gabby, Kate, Griffin, Mia, Rylen, Bowyn, Dessa, Raelyn and Jim.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Wahnetia Howell.
The family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12. Frank will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
