Joann Everly Herrington, 83, of Mount Morris, Pa., died at 5:11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at home.
She was born Saturday, Aug. 26, 1939, in Morgantown. A daughter of the late John Shirl Everly and Lena Virginia Calcio Everly Harvey.
Mrs. Herrington was a member of the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God since 1964. She enjoyed being with her family and taking care of her home. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband: Edward D. Herrington, whom she married on Sept. 17, 1960.
Also surviving are one son and his wife: Edward D. and Christine Herrington Jr., of Wadsworth, Ohio; three grandchildren, Olivia Herrington, Cecilia Herrington and Thomas Edward Herrington; stepsister, Betty Jo Lewellen, of Mount Morris, Pa.; one stepbrother, William R. “Butch” Harvey, of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one stepsister: Nina Adams, and one stepbrother, Truman Duane Harvey.
Friends will be received in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 324 Mount Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the time of the service, with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, Pa.
