Sherry Henry Forsyth, 63, died surrounded by family on her birthday, Nov. 20, 2022. She was born to Carter Henry and Lulu Howell, of Morgantown.
Prior to earning a PhD in behavioral psychology from Brigham Young University, Sherry served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Peru. Sherry was an accomplished behavioral consultant, working with psychiatric and developmentally disabled individuals. In 1987, Sherry married Matthew Forsyth. Despite having no children of their own, Matt and Sherry loved spoiling their many nieces and nephews. Many of Sherry’s most favored memories were of vacationing with them in the theme parks of Orlando.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Matthew; mother, Lulu Howell; and her siblings, Janice (Bruce) Rhiddlehoover, Jimmy Henry, Earnie (Janie) Jennelle, Chuck (Sherry) Jennelle and Patrick (Shari) Henry.
A private memorial service will be held on Dec. 3. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
