Tammy absolutely loved being a nurse and had a true passion for caring for people. Her career as a nurse spanned 35 years with WVU Medicine in the NICU.
Tammy was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, and mother to her children as well as being a mother-figure to other children.
She enjoyed all sports, but particularly WVU football and basketball, as well as the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. She enjoyed everything about the 1980s, especially its music from Michael Jackson, Prince and others. She was a pop culture buff. True crime documentaries and live trials were her favorite things to watch on television. She also liked watching “Jeopardy!” and “Family Feud.”
