Perry Ann Wethered Samsell, 85, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1st, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center.
Born Aug. 30, 1937, in Webster Springs, Perry was a daughter of the late William Perry Wethered and the late Juanita Wine Wethered.
Perry is survived by her two children, John Paul Samsell and Martha Sue Samsell, both of Morgantown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Phillip Samsell, on March 9, 2019; an infant son, Perry Brown Samsell; and her siblings, Martha Snyder and Susan Minnich.
Perry was a Methodist by faith. She was a hard worker with a great work ethic. She never found an excuse to not do her job. She was shy but always very nice to everyone she met. She was a good-hearted lady and was pleasant to be around.
At her request, there will be no public services and inurnment will take place with her husband at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
