Loey had been through quite a lot in her short lifetime. In April 2010 she suffered a major stroke that left her in the hospital for a month. She defied the odds and worked hard to return home. During those years afterward, she would continue to fight and go through many medical procedures and health issues. You will never meet a stronger person.

Loey is also survived by her four siblings, Dave Nugent, Rick Nugent, Judy Nugent and Donna Ayers and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Loey worked at Gabriel Brothers warehouse as a pricer and sorter. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Organization. She loved spending time at her favorite places: Chincoteague Island, Va. and Seneca Rocks. Loey was a great cook and loved flowers, hummingbirds and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family and watching her grandsons play.

As per Loey’s request, there will be no funeral or services.
