West Virginia University students will be returning to Morgantown this week.
Residence hall move-in started Thursday and runs through Saturday.
The first day of classes is Aug. 18.
The return of FallFest highlights Welcome Week which also began Thursday, and continues through the Wednesday.
New events include a pool party for all students at the Student Recreation Center on Saturday and a service project to benefit the West Virginia United Way Collaborative during Monday Night Lights for first-year students Monday at Milan Puskar Stadium.
For the first time since 2019, FallFest will be held on the Evansdale Recreation Fields Tuesday. Details on FallFest acts are scheduled to be announced today.
The Rec Center Pool Party, Monday Night Lights and FallFest, join Mountaineer MovieFest Sunday as the marquee events out of the more than 50 planned during Welcome Week.
The PRT has resumed operations with normal weekday hours from 6:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The PRT is normally closed on Sundays.
Special Welcome Week PRT hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
