Kathy Reseter

Kathy Elaine Reseter, 68, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born Sept. 3, 1953, in Morgantown, a daughter of Delores Goff Victor, of Morgantown, and the late George Robert Victor Jr.

Kathy was a homemaker in recent years but has always been active working different jobs in her life. She graduated from University High School in 1971, graduated from Life Christian University in June 7, 2008, with a Bachelor of Theology Degree, she was ordained as a minister in April 4, 2009, and was the Founder of Barnabas Ministries.

Kathy loved teaching and studying the word and shared it with anyone she met. She enjoyed many activities through the years, her latest was Jeeping with her friends anytime she got the chance.

In addition to her loving mother, Kathy is survived by her devoted daughter, Dena, and an amazing son- in-law, who was always helping her, Bub Carpenter; a grandson, Noah Carpenter, who was the light of her life; many loving relatives; two really special cousins she loved dearly who helped in her care, Robin Jones, who was like a sister to her, and Kim Hudson, who was always like a second daughter; many friends and loving neighbors; and three best friends who helped in her care, Deanna Rowan, Donna Born and Susan Walker.

In addition to her father, Kathy was proceeded in death by her husband, Andrew Reseter; a sister, Tamara “Tammy” Victor; and five uncles: James Kenneth Goff, William “Bill,” Joseph “Joe,” Robert “Bob” and Richard Victor; and one aunt, Dorothy Victor Heiser.

A very special thank you to Dr. McBee, his staff and all other doctors, nursing staff, caregivers and anyone who was involved in helping her in any way during her time of need.

Friends may gather at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 11 a.m. until
2 p.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held at McCulla Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Strosnider officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
