Jodi Weaver

Jodi Eilene Weaver (Jackson), 50, of Lebanon Mo. passed away July 12, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was called home to heaven, and found her healing.

Jodi was born Dec. 15, 1971, to Terry and Brenda (Dryden) Jackson on Lemoore Naval Air Station, Lemoore, Calif. The family moved to Ottawa, Kan. in 1973, where Jodi was raised and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1990. Jodi went on to complete her bachelor’s degree, graduating from West Virginia University in 2006.

Jodi was united in marriage to her life’s love, Don Weaver, on March 17, 2001. They lived together in Kansas, West Virginia, Illinois and finally settled in Lebanon, Mo. after Don’s retirement from the military.
Jodi and Don worked at raising seven children together. Their oldest is currently 29 and the youngest is 6. After their marriage, Jodi became a full time homemaker and homeschool mother. She has told many people it was the most fulfilling thing she could do, being at home teaching her children Christian morals and values alongside their school work and taking care of her family.

Jodi is survived by her loving husband, Don, of Lebanon, Mo.; and the couple’s seven children: Brandon Sands, and wife Ashley, of Ottawa, Kan., Brittany Bribiesca (Weaver) and husband Alex, of Amarillo, Texas, Emily Quick (Sands) and husband Derek, of Richland, Mo., and Hunter, Jarrett, Kinsley and Darbi Weaver, of Lebanon, Mo.; and her three grandchildren Kayci, Kian and Mazi, of Richland, Mo. Jodi is also survived by her father, Terry, of Ottawa, Kan.; and her brothers, Jim Jackson and wife Tonia, of Garnett, Kan., and Jeff Jackson and wife Patti, of Paola, Kan., and their families; her maternal grandmother, Darlene Dryden, of Ottawa, Kan.; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jodi is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Irene Jackson (Dryden); both her paternal grandparents; her maternal grandfather; her great-nephew; and two cousins.

There will be a remembrance reunion for Jodi in Lebanon, Mo., on Friday, July 22.

The family requests monetary donations in lieu of flowers. The contributions will be given to an organization selected by Jodi’s family from those who helped Jodi the most through her cancer journey.
