Delores Jeanne Hamrick, 78, passed peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022, in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Born Jan. 27, 1944, in Morgantown, to Orville and Marjorie Hamrick.
Jeanne graduated from Morgantown High School and Morgantown Beauty School followed by a 50-year career as a hairdresser in South Florida.
Survivors include a son, Ed Hamrick (Stephanie); a brother, Ron Hamrick (Becky); a sister-in-law, Judy Hamrick; twin grandchildren, Hannah and Connor Hamrick (the loves of her life); nieces, Jennifer Burkhead (Neal), Julie Zwadyk (Vince) and Heather Gentile (John); a nephew, Jay Hamrick; great-nephews, Jonathan Burkhead (Tabitha), Joshua Burkhead and Walsh Zwadyk; and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Marjorie Hamrick, and brother, Orville C. (aka Don) Hamrick.
Honoring Jeanne’s wishes, she was cremated, and no public service will be held. A celebration of her life will be held later by family.
