James Daniel Griffith, 63, of Rowlesburg, died on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his home in Rowlesburg.
James was born April 26, 1959, in Kingwood, a son of the late Clifford and Dolly (Auvil) Griffith.
James liked to ride motorcycles and listen to music, and it was important to him to be around his family.
He is survived by three brothers and their spouses, Terry and Lalena Griffith of Paxton, Ill., Gary and Brenda Griffith Sr. and Sammy and Pam Baker Jr., all of Kingwood; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Griffith, and nephew, Andrew Griffith.
Friends are invited to share their memories of James with his family during the visitation at the Kingwood Funeral Home, located at 295 S. Price St., from 2-3 p.m., the funeral hour, on Thursday, July 14, with the Rev. Joe Lamm officiating. Interment of his cremains will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood.
