
Ronald “Limey” Richardson, 65, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at his residence after a courageous fight with cancer.
Born June 15, 1956, in Hamburg, Germany, he was a son of the late John and Doris Peterson Richardson.
Limey is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Ann Taylor Richardson; his four children, Leanne Richardson, Terri Gray, Ashley Pena and Alan Richardson; his stepchildren Jackie Hollar, Kelley Puskus and Kevin Puskus; many grandchildren; a brother, Brian Richardson; and a sister, Lynn Houseman.
Limey was well-known in this area as a talented and knowledgeable butcher at Farm 2 Table Direct in Cheat Lake. He had a knack for having a quick wit, and could bring a smile to your face almost instantly. He adored his job and loved his customers. He would always take the time to give advise to his customers and friends on how to properly prepare for and cook delicious meals. He enjoyed a good beer and smoke and spending time with his family and friends.
At his request, Limey will be cremated. The date, location and time of a celebration fitting of the wonderful life and legacy he left behind will be announced later.
