Kylee Michele Vanfosson, 32, and her unborn baby girl, Aleah Michele, were unexpectedly reunited in heaven on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Kylee was born on Oct. 15, 1989, in Morgantown, the daughter of Samuel and Susan Nestor Plum, of Rivesville.
Kylee was a graduate of University High School and later attended Fairmont State University. She worked as an EMT and later for Delaney Transport, LLC. She was passionate about whatever she was doing and had a caring heart. She had a desire to serve others and was always willing to help with compassion.
If you knew Kylee even for a short time, you discovered her love for animals of all kinds. She always wanted to be a veterinarian and practiced that love every day. Animals large and small, she loved them all. Kylee had so many interests and hobbies, but one thing she was very proud of was her Cherokee heritage. She spent many hours outdoors near the water where she felt at peace.
In addition to her mom and dad, she leaves to cherish her memory; her paternal grandparents, Cameron and Rita Plum, of Rivesville; her two daughters, Alexis Vanfosson, of Fairmont, and Alyssa Plum, of Rivesville; her brother, Brian Plum (Teresa), of Rivesville; her companion, Eric Lee Guthrie; and two nephews, Matthew Rodeheaver, of Rivesville, and William Carter Jett-Coleman, of Mannington.
Kylee and Aleah are also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma Nestor.
The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, and again from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at 1:30 p.m. on Friday with Pastor Brian K. Plum officiating. Kylee and Aleah will be buried together at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Kylee Vanfosson Memorial Fund C/O Fairmont Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 2139, Fairmont, WV 26555-2139.
