Rodney Randolph Jones Sr., 71, of Kingwood died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at home with loving family by his side.
He was born April 25, 1951, in Baltimore, the son of the late Randolph C. and Theresa Hrabak Jones.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a heavy equipment operator for Allegheny Wood Products. He enjoyed doing yard work, tinkering on his Jeep and hanging Christmas lights.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Johnson Jones; his son, Rodney Jones Jr., of Reedsville; his daughter, Tanya Jones and companion Greg Smith, of Valley Point; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a cousin, Warren Jones, of Cambridge, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Corrine Royal.
Family will receive friends at Kingwood Funeral Home at 295 S. Price St. in Kingwood, from 2–4 p.m., where services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. May 25, with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating.
Kingwood Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation services.
