Edward Roy Pride II, 71, of Morgantown, passed away at Mon Health Medical Center on May 17, 2022. Roy was born in Waynesburg, Pa., on Feb. 24, 1951, to the late Edward Roy Pride and Floral Frances Stutler Pride.
Roy worked as a general superintendent for Consol Energy and enjoyed golfing.
Roy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cheryl Pierce Pride; daughters: Shannon Pride, of Cary, N.C., Jaclyn Allegretto (Jim), of Burlington, N.C., Meredith Pride (Brent Wood), of Charleston, Courtney Pride, of Morgantown, Ashley Massey (Oliver), of Raleigh, N.C., and Dominique Pride, of Fairbanks, Alaska; son, Edward Roy Pride IV, of Morgantown; grandchildren: James Pierce Allegretto, Royce Corrine Allegretto, Eden Elyse Massey and Sadie Eve Massey; brothers: Joseph V. Pride (Janice), of Morgantown and Richard Pride (Carolyn), of Core; and several nieces and a nephew.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his daughters: Tiffany Royce Pride, Courtney Shannon Pride; and a son: Edward Roy Pride III.
A private service was held at McCulla Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home provided cremation service.
