David Sherman Thomas, 70, of Charleston, died at home May 10, 2022.
He was a native of Spencer, and graduated from Spencer High School and West Virginia University. David studied accounting at the University of Charleston and was a retired CPA with the West Virginia State Treasurer’s office.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Pansy Thomas; sister, Carol Elaine Thomas; and stepmother, Anita K. Thomas.
Surviving is his aunt, Nellie Stewart, of Wellington, Ohio; stepbrother and wife, Ed and Bea Kuhn, of Man (Logan County; two stepnieces; one stepnephew; and many cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17.
Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston, is handling the arrangements.
