Jessie Alice (Hill) Sypolt, 97, of Arthurdale, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at home surrounded by loving family. She was born Nov. 5, 1924, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Howard Hill and Lillian May (Hunt) Hill. Jessie was a graduate of Kingwood High School. In 1942, she married George Forest Sypolt.
Jessie is survived by a son, George “Buzzy” Sypolt Jr. and wife Sharon; a daughter, Tracie Sypolt; a son-in-law, Dave Hall; two grandchildren, Mark Sypolt and wife Jill and Lori Patterson and husband Brian; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George; her daughter, Marilee Hall; three brothers, Russell, Roscoe and Dayton Hill; and one sister, Violet Garlitz.
Funeral services at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville were Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Interment followed at Arthurdale Cemetery.
