Theresa Louise Hughes,71, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her residence.
Born Jan. 28, 1951, in Morgantown, she was a daughter of the late James and Catherine “Kitty” Boyd Hughes.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kylie Joann Hughes; a sister, Willa Joann Hughes; a brother, Gregory Hughes; her son-in-law, Marcel Robinson; and a nephew, David Wade Hughes.
Theresa is survived by her four children; Jamie Lynn Hughes, Jonathon “Rocky” Hughes, Chrystal Green and husband Anthony and Tiffany Robinson; 11 grandchildren, Jalan Hughes, Juwan Hughes, Ebony Martin, Alijah Martin, Camron Green, Keishaun Hughes, Alexiyah Hughes, Gavinn Rodamer, Anthony Green Jr., Braxton Hughes and Kingston Hughes; a great-granddaughter, Kinsley Jade Hughes; her siblings, John Hughes, Luther Hughes, Mary Layman and DeWayne Anderson; her aunt, Sarah Little; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She worked in the Communications/IT department of Mon Health Medical Center. She was a devoted grandmother who dearly loved her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and shopping.
Theresa has been cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
