Patsy Barrett, 66, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1956, in New Market, Va., the daughter of the late James Clayton and Reba (Oden) Wealthy.
Patsy was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She was employed at Walmart for over 25 years between the Harrisburg, Va. store and Morgantown. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by three boys: Steven Michael Wealthy and wife Jannette, Chad Sammons and Courtney Foltz and wife Pam; six grandchildren: Sierra Wealthy, Cole Wealthy, Amelia Sammons, Xavier Sammons, Alicia Foltz, and Hayden Foltz; and her brother, Billy Wealthy.
In accordance with her wishes, Hastings Funeral Home will be providing cremation services and the family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The American Diabetes Association Research Foundation.
