Evonne Joyce Nicholson, 51, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1971, the daughter of the late William Orville and Darla Irene (Crabb) Nicholson, in Morgantown.
Evonne was a graduate of University High School in 1989. She loved art, particularly drawing and painting. She also had a passion for music and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her siblings, Sheila Burkle, Kenny Rago, William Nicholson and Shane Nicholson; aunts, Denise Casperson, Dawna Hockenberry and Daphne Sheets; and her loving dog,
Pepper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Crystal Nicholson.
A memorial visiting will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26. Her cremains will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
