She is survived by her beloved husband, Randy Allen White, who stood by her side throughout her battle; her children, Timothy Charles Burnette and fiancée Amelia Foreman, Stephanie and Kenny Willis, Tammy and Stephen Pirlo, Tyler and Tess Fike and Adam White; grandchildren, Kali, Tanner, Jaxson, Addison, Stella and Leila; and one great-grandson, Odin.
Also, surviving is her sister, Maryann and Danny Baker; numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; and her best friend of more than 60 years, Jackie Byuse.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Jane Baker; nephew, Daniel Kenneth Baker; and granddaughter, Rylee Sierra Burnette.
The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, and again from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Friday. She will be laid to rest at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mary Mays for standing by the family and being a good friend to Doris, Sherry Bosley for taking such good care of her and Carla and Char from Amedisys Hospice for their compassion.
