SB 518, s to allow for nurses licensed in another state to practice in the State of West Virginia upon registration with the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses. Governor’s bill.
SB 531, to increase the compensation of the membership of the West Virginia State Police and increase the salaries for public school teachers and school service personnel. Governor’s bill.
SB 535, to provide for revocation of certain licenses and certifications of school personnel upon conviction of certain crimes or a finding of abuse by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Governor’s bill.
SB 536, enhanced penalties for possessing, manufacturing, importing or transporting fentanyl. Governor’s bill.
SB 538, to establish the BUILD WV Act to provide incentives to promote development of residential housing properties for the betterment and well-being of the people of this state. Governor’s bill.

HB 4011, to prohibit anti-stereotyping in public school training and curriculum. Delegate Guy Ward, R-Marion, co-sponsor.
HB 4016, to prohibit race or sex stereotyping, biologically and or genetically counter factual instruction, and/or or a biased and historically inaccurate account of comparative political economic systems in instruction provided to pupils in school districts and independent charter schools; and training provided to employees of school boards and independent charter schools.
HB 4487, to require a written contract between a licensed contractor and owner or lessee of residential property and information to be contained in the written contract. Delegate Phil Mallow, R-Marion, lead sponsor.
HB 4491, to establish a new legal and regulatory framework for drilling of injection wells and operation of facilities for the underground sequestration of injected carbon dioxide and for the state to pursue primacy authorization for oversight and enforcement of laws for underground carbon dioxide sequestration. HJR 105, to amend the state Constitution to to include as a right under the state Bill of Rights that all people have a natural, inherent and unalienable right to food and have a fundamental right to be free from hunger, malnutrition, starvation and the endangerment of life from the scarcity of or lack of access to nourishing food.
