Ricky Lee Shipp, 58, of Morgantown, passed away Jan. 19, 2022, at home. He was born Sept. 20, 1963 in Morgantown, a son of the late James F. Shipp and Janet I. Stimmell Shipp.
He is survived by his brother, James F. Shipp Jr. (Mary); sister, Debra Danley (Mark); children, Brandon Sylvester and Kayla Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews. He was also expecting his first granddaughter in a few months.
Ricky worked at Sterling Faucet after graduating high school. He later did construction work, ranging from stucco to custom made cabinets. He loved woodworking and took great pride in every piece he made. Rick also loved watching football and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The family would like to extend an extra thanks to his caregiver, Nathan Shaffer.
In keeping with Rick’s wishes, there will be no services.
