Robert “Bob” Lee Musgrove, 71, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fairmont on Feb. 8, 1950, the son of the late Robert E. Musgrove and Lula Mae Wilson Musgrove.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Kay Forte Musgrove; son, Robert Lee Musgrove II and his wife Amanda, of Fairmont; daughter, Tracey Posgate and her husband Colin, of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Deklan Posgate, Tyler Robert Musgrove and Ayla Marie Musgrove; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Hall, of Ohio, and Lou Anne Pierce and her husband Marty, of Ohio.
Bob was a 1968 graduate of East Fairmont High School and attended Fairmont State College. He worked over 42 years as a sheet metal worker at Local 33. Bob enjoyed golfing and working around the house. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating. A committal service will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
