William “Bill” Fredrick Harris, 52, of Rivesville, passed away on Dec. 1, 2021. Bill was born on Dec. 28, 1968, to Wayne and Deloris Harris.
Bill worked for March Westin in Morgantown for 19 years and was a member of the Carpenters Union. Bill enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming and spending time on his boat watching his wife and son fish.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Gower Harris and their son, William “Billy” Harris; brother Roger and wife Nancy of Fowlersville, Mich.; sister, Bernice Bachman and husband Tom, of Rivesville; brother, Wayne and wife Debbie, of Wayne, Mich.; brother, Cecil and wife Robin, of Pointe of Rocks, Md.; brother, Virgil, of Rivesville; mother-in-law, Claida Gower, of Rivesville; sister-in-law, Marcella Riley and husband Tony, of Charleston; sister-in-law, Teresa Parker, of Rivesville; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Harris, and mother, Deloris Toothman; father-in-law, Roy Gower, of Rivesville; and brother-in-law, Richard Parker, of Rivesville.
The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 2nd and Jasper St., Rivesville, WV 26588, from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m-2 p.m. and from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 and from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, with the Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating. A committal service will follow at McCurdysville Cemetery in McCurdysville.
