Wava Clark, 105, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, with her daughter at her side.
Wava was born in Indian Mound, Tenn., to parents, Morris and Ella Legate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vergil Clark; her son, Victor Clark; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Clark (Edward) Magee, of Charleston, and her two grandchildren, Claire Magee and Mark Magee.
Wava lived in Morgantown, for 45 years. She was a realtor and real estate broker. She was a long-time member of the Suncrest United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Summers-Jacob Circle and a member of the quilting group.
A private family graveside funeral was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Tenn., on Tuesday, Nov. 9. She was laid to rest alongside her husband, Vergil Clark. Burial services were provided by Neal-Tarpley-Parchment Funeral Home, of Clarksville, Tenn.
