Lena Dorinzi, 94, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at the Madison Center. She was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Granville, a daughter of the late John and Antonette (Belcastro) Fraze.
She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and worked for many years at Thorofare Grocery Store in the meat department.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra “Debbie” Beery and her husband Tim; granddaughter, Lindsay Spaur and her husband Matt; great-granddaughter, Harper Spaur; and sister, Elizabeth Dayton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Deno Dorinzi; two brothers, Tony and Bill; six sisters, Mary, Virginia, Julia, Rose, Katherine and a baby sister, Frances.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon on Thursday, Nov. 18, with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery.
