Levona Maxine (Lowdermilk) Gibson, 83, of Masontown, entered eternal rest on Nov. 10, 2021, at home with family by her side. Maxine was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Masontown, a daughter of the late Earnest Paul and Goldie Marie (Robinson) Lowdermilk. She was employed by Morgan Shirt Factory for 38 years when she retired.
Maxine is survived by four children, Kathy Lynn Gibson, of Masontown, Warren Harry Gibson Jr., of Warren, Ohio, Earnest and Rosann Gibson, of Masontown, and Anna and Kevin Chipps, of Masontown, where she lived her last remaining years; one brother, Wade “Buck” Lowdermilk and wife Libby; one sister, Ilene Livengood of Fairchance, Pa.; one brother-in-law, William Gibson Sr., of Warren Ohio; son-in-law, Ronald Bolyard, of Belington; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Gibson Sr., and daughter, Kelly Jo (Gibson) Bolyard; brothers, Clyde (Warren) Lowdermilk, Robert Lowdermilk, Earnest Lowdermilk and Richard Lowdermilk; and one sister, Eleanor Virginia (Lowdermilk) Taylor.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home, from noon-2 p.m., the time of services, on Sunday Nov. 14, with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. A private interment will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery.
