Martha Dorothy Sypolt 86, of Kingwood, died Wednesday Nov. 10, 2021, at StoneRise Kingwood, in Kingwood.
She was born on July 27, 1935 in Catawba, a daughter of the late Christopher and Nellie Walls Brewer.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was also a member of the Kingwood Apostolic Church, and in her spare time she enjoyed reading and going for walks.
She is survived by her daughters, Carliss Zinn and husband Timothy and Barbara Teter, all of Kingwood; a brother, John Brewer, of Morgantown; and many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Frank Brewer and Washington Brewer; and five sisters, Olive Gillespie, Nellie Knotts, Hazel McNair, Delcie Bryson and Ice Weaver.
Family and friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 10 a.m.-noon, the funeral hour, on Monday, Nov. 15, with Pastor Chris Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at the Beverly Hill Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
