Hazel L. Spiker, 80, of Bruceton Mills, passed away after a short illness in Stonerise Healthcare, Morgantown.
The daughter of the late Robert F. Schnopp and Allie Mae Sisler Schnopp, she was born Aug. 23, 1941, in Hazelton.
Hazel was a lifelong member of the Hazelton Church of the Brethren. She was very active in many church and community activities, as well as more than 30 years in real estate.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, and Steve and Nancy Spiker, and Randy and Tammy Spiker of Bruceton Mills; grandchildren, Nick Spiker, Jennifer Spiker and Ryan and Laura Spiker; and great-grandsons, Colt and Landry Spiker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ray Spiker; two brothers, David Schnopp and Samuel Dwight Schnopp.
Due to the increase of the COVID virus, the family wishes to have a private service and burial at the Shady Grove Cemetery, where Hazel will be laid to rest beside her husband, with the Rev. Michael Bernard officiating.
