Billy Jo Woodford, 90, of Westover, passed away at her home Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. Billy Jo was born in Morgantown April 6, 1931, to the late Garland and Ruby Whipkey Sayre.
Billy Jo was a homemaker and provided tirelessly for the needs of her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Lynn Kessler, of Ronceverte; sons, Gary Smith, of Westover, Robert K. Woodford (Lisa), of Columbia City, Ind., and Joseph S. Woodford (Keely), of Georgia; seven grandchildren: Christopher Rose (Maria), Amy Kidd (Lee), Kimberly Rose, Joanna Smith (Gina Vasquez), Stefanie Rutschilling (Damon Dorman), Chelsey Eakle (J.B.) and Mallory Reehl (David); 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, and again from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
