Ronald Corwin

Ronald “Ronnie” Corwin Jr., 66, of Rivesville passed away on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Ronald Corwin Sr. and Mabel “Duke” Corwin.

He is survived by his sister and her husband, Ronda and Donnie Arnett; nephew, Donnie Arnett III; niece, Shana Howard and her husband Abe Howard; great-nieces, Layla and Leah Arnett, Summer Howard; and great-nephew, Coleton Howard. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ronnie was a graduate of Rivesville High School, Class of 1973. He was an auto mechanic by trade, working as a service manager at Barrick Motors and Larry Myers most of his career. Besides spending time with family and friends, Ronnie had a passion for riding his Harley, going to flea markets and collecting antiques. He was also an avid Mountaineer fan, attending most games as a season ticket holder prior to his debilitating stroke in 2014. Ronnie had a zest for life and lived life to the fullest. You could find him most weekend mornings at McAteer’s or Mom’s Place, hanging out with his buddies.

In accordance with Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554.
