Tammy Lynn Knight, 50, of Flemington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at home with her husband by her side. She was born June 27, 1971, a daughter of the late Robert L. Curry Sr. and Jacqueline (Mott) Curry.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 14 years, Mark Knight; daughter, Angela Morgan Cale (Rodney), of Morgantown; son, Lawrence Knight (fianceé H. Serenity Keller), of Flemington; stepson, Mark Knight Jr. (Shelby), of Billings, Mont.; stepdaughter, Aimee Jung (Gabe), of Boaz, Alaska; three stepgrandchildren: Kailee, Layla and Maddox Jung, of Boaz; brother, Robert Curry Jr. (Brenda), of Morgantown; two half sisters: Olga Wosz (Dan), of Huntingdon, Tenn., and Marie Bahauss, of Morgantown; a special friend she considered a daughter, Alana Harvey, of Morgantown; aunt and uncle that she loved like parents, Sandy and Pete Landeros, of Maryland; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
Tammy loved life, especially her dogs Rusty, Chloe and Angel. She enjoyed the outdoors, walks in the woods and camping. She loved working in the garden and flowers. Her greatest love was her children and husband; they were her world. Tammy and Mark shared a very special love together. The world didn’t matter when they were together. She will be missed, but always loved.
Family and friends will be received at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
