James Allen Rodgers, 60, of Rivesville, passed away at his daughter’s home on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. James was born in Hanover, Pa., June 24, 1961, a son of Franklin Rodgers and the late Esther Good Rodgers.
James served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed gold prospecting and working on anything with a motor.
In addition to his father, James is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Rodgers and fiancé Brian Fridinger, of Rivesville, Crystal Mick and husband Scott, of Weston, Misty Johnson, of Morgantown, Mindy Rogers and husband Dan, of Morgantown, and Mandy Kovach and husband Jacob, of Virginia; son, James Rodgers, of Weston; sisters, Karen Martus and Sharon Harris; brothers, Michael Rodgers and Douglas Rodgers; and eight grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made towards the cremation expenses to McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, WV 26501.
