Vada Rosemond (Smith) Davis, 90, of Arthurdale, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, from Windy Hill Village, with loving family by her side. She was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Masontown, a daughter of Firl Motor and Ressie Fay (Radabaugh) Smith. Vada was an active member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Arthurdale. She is survived by son, Edgar P. Davis (Jane), of Masontown; daughter, Sharon V. Weakley, of Rochelle, Va.; sisters, Nancy Weaver and Vesta McVicker; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 2000; daughter, Cynthia, in 2018; three brothers; and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville, from 3-6 p.m., S unday, Aug. 22. Graveside funeral services will be at
2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23, with the Rev. Steven E. Lightner officiating.
