Allen Dwayne Perkins, 60, of Star City, passed away Friday Aug. 13, 2021, at his home, after a short illness. He was born and raised in Morgantown and is the son of the late Ronald Lee and Shirley Ann (Campbell) Perkins.
He is survived by his son, Allen Dwayne Perkins Jr. and companion Tanya Smith; a daughter Ashleigh Nicole Perkins, of Oklahoma; and sisters, Sherry (Perkins) Smith, of Morgantown, and Shelia (Perkins) DeLauder and husband Patrick DeLauder, of Terra Alta.
Allen was a CDL truck driver and held other various jobs. He was kindhearted and loved his family and dogs.
There will be a viewing at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, with a private grave side gathering at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Thursday.
