Gloria Jean McKee, 94, formerly of Greensboro, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at Evergreen Assisted Living in Waynesburg, Pa., where she had resided for the past eight months. Born in Clarksville, Pa., on April 18, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Opal (Arnold) Rohrer.
A 1944 graduate of the former Jefferson High School, she was a faithful member of the Greensboro Baptist Church for many years. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed looking after the needs of her family.
Surviving are her three children, Gary Don McKee (Jenny Jones), of Williamsburg, Va., Diane Dumont, of Barrackville, and Shelley Donley and husband Jay, of Bobtown, Pa.; and six grandchildren and their spouses, Kim McKee Fonner (Steve, deceased), of Washington, Pa., Gary Allen and Janelle McKee, of Chester, Va., Ryan and Amy Dumont, of Jane Lew, Bart and Sheena Donley, of Uniontown, Pa., Jayce Donley, of Greensboro, Pa., and Matthew and Julie Dumont, of Grafton.
Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Morgan Fonner, Mya McKee, Jaxon and Kendall Donley and Oliver, Fletcher, Audrey and Maverick Dumont; a sister, Barbara Summers, of West Chester, Pa.; and a brother, Terry Rohrer, of New York.
Her husband of 66 years, Sheldon K. McKee, passed away on Jan. 21, 2013. Also deceased are brothers, Donald, Richard, James, Michael and Tommy Rohrer; a sister, Dorothy Reaney; and a granddaughter, Shea Dumont.
Honoring the wishes of the deceased, a private service for her family will be held in the Greensboro Baptist Church. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R.
