Gloria Gay Sickles, 71, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday evening, July 31, 2021, at her residence with her family at her side.
She was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edwin Charles and Genevieve Louise Stewart Tichenor.
She is survived by her children, Frank “Mickey” Moore, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Angela Dalton and her significant other, Jerry Murray, of Morgantown; her bonus children, Kayla and husband Nathan Moran, of Kingwood, Korina and husband Conley Webb, of Nebraska, Rebecca and husband Brandon Blosser and Charles Sickles, all of Morgantown, and Jeremy and wife Crystal Sickles, of Westover; eight grandchildren; and four siblings, Brenda and husband Bill Allen, Lowel “Bud” and wife Linda Tichenor and Rick and wife Mary Tichenor, all of Morgantown, and Pat Ewing, of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Edward Sickles; a granddaughter, Lucky Dalton; and her sister, Linda Cordray.
Gloria was a homemaker who enjoyed reading romance novels and plastic canvas sewing.
No services are planned and Gloria’s request for cremation is being honored by her family.
