The Morgantown Elks, 1138 Chestnut Ridge Road, will present a stand-up comedy show at 9 p.m. Friday.
The show will feature four comedians. Comedian and actor Christian Cox will serve as host of the show. Cox, an actor, comedian and director in northern West Virginia, has been performing for over 30 years with his unique blend of humor.
He does more than 70 impersonations; some he admits are quite useless. He won the first Monongalia Arts Center Comedy Showdown. Active with theater as an actor and director, Cox was last seen in the Robinson Grande Theatre’s inaugural community theater production of Annie as the scheming Rooster.
Also appearing will be Morgantown native Angela DeMoss; Cleveland-transplant Richie Ryan and Jacob Hall, who was the winner of the 2015 “Stand Up Show Down” at the West Virginia Comedy Festival and the 2016 “Biggest Liar” at the West Virginia Vandalia Gathering.
Tickets for the show are $8. They can be purchased at the door or in advance at BPOElks411.org/comedy.
