A local LGBTQ+ organization will host an event to celebrate area coveted canine comrades this weekend.
According to series of Facebook posts, Morgantown Pride’s Pet Palooza will be held Saturday, July 31, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will take place in South Park. A sign-in process for attendees will be held at Gene’s Beer Garden at 461 Wilson Ave.
Guests can also have photographs taken with their furry friends at that location. Attendees should look for the rainbow crosswalk to direct them toward the sign-in and photo stations.
According to the organization, Saturday’s event will be filled with photoshoots, activities and treats for both dogs and humans.
Representatives of Morgantown Pride were not immediately available for comment on this event.
