Rosemary Ellen Teets, 83, of Kingwood, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Preston Memorial Hospital, with family by her side.
She was born in Newburg, Feb. 22, 1938, daughter of the late Alva Doane and Freda Elizabeth Mitter Deems.
Rosemary enjoyed going to the beach, camping and traveling with her husband. She especially loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Mike Teets, of Nutter Fort, Greg and Mary Teets, of Morgantown, Bradley Teets and Gary George, of Albright, and Mark and Kelly Teets, of Kingwood; seven grandchildren, Emily Teets, Sammy Teets, Katie Teets, Cody Teets, Markie Parsons, Mattie Parsons and Colby Teets; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Susan Robinson, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. Teets, in 2009; one daughter-in-law, Betty Teets; and one brother, Alvy Doane Deems.
Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St., Newburg, from
2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, until the time of service at 7 p.m. Private inurnment will be at the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point.
