Ronald David “Doodle” Wilhelm, 67, of Kingwood, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Preston Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1954, in Kingwood, a son of the late Junior Albert and Doris P. Kelly Wilhelm.
Doodle was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He had worked as a coal miner and for the Local Laborers Union #379. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, David Wilhelm and wife Stephanie, of Kingwood; his daughter, Lisa Wilhelm, of Frostburg, Md.; his brothers, Joseph Wilhelm and John Wilhelm and wife Karen; his sister, Mary Brewer and husband Bill; and his seven grandchildren, David, Dayvanice, Serenity, Solomon, Bryson, Adian and Elijah.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Robert Jr., and a sister, Phyllis Collins.
Family and friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 3-7 p.m., Saturday, July 17. A celebration of life service will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating.
