It is with great sadness that the family of Vadna Eletta Bishoff Walls, 85, of Bruceton Mills, announce her passing on June 18, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones, including her beloved dog, Blue.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1935, in Preston County, a daughter of the late Clarence Bishoff and Mearl Reckart Hall.
She was a very high-spirited person, loving mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and friend to all. She was always there for everyone, never met a stranger and worked hard all her life.
Vadna is survived by four daughters, Blenda Clark, of Waukesha, Wis., Betty Wilson and partner Rick Phares, of Fairmont, Kathy Stark and husband John Stark, of Bruceton Mills, and Linda Walls, of Bruceton Mills; a son, Glen Walls Jr. and wife Pam Walls; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Walls; sisters, Betty Cramer, Carol Dixon and Debra Bolyard and partner Bill Walls; sister-in-law, Sandy Bishoff; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a wonderful caregiver and close friend, Kirsten Surbrook; along with many other family members and dear friends who will severely miss her.
She is preceded in death by her son, David (Davey) Walls; husband, Glen Walls Sr.; brothers, Kenny Reckart, Delbert Bishoff, David “Big John” Bishoff and William Clyde Bishoff; and sister, Ann Dixon.
Visitation will be held at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 21, with cremation services to follow.
