Nora M. Ralston, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021. She was one of 10 children born to the late Archie Lee and Lula St. Clair, growing up on Bakers Ridge Road. Nora married Harold Ralston in June of 1958, being together 49 years, until his passing in 2008.
She had two children with Harold; Cheryl Halley and husband Scott and Mark Ralston and wife Tonya Balasko Ralston. She also had two stepchildren, Brenda Forker and husband Tom, of Zanesville, Ohio, and the late Harold Ralston Jr.
In addition to her children, Nora is the grandmother of Johnathon Ralston and wife Nikki; step-grandmother of Shane and Faith Balasko; great-grandmother of Dominic and Sofia Ralston; and many other stepchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nora is also survived by sisters, Madeline and husband Jim Crockett and Susie (Evelyn) and husband John Rhodes; and brother, Scott St. Clair and wife Donna.
In addition to her parents, husband, and stepson, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Nora worked many years at local glass factories, including Beaumont Glass, Gentile Glass and Quality Glass. In recent years, one of her favorite leisure activities was trips to area casinos with her sister Madeline and visits/dinner outings with special niece Karen Shulick-Robinson.
Special thanks to her recent home health care worker Stacy Newbraugh-Hostutler, with whom she enjoyed her care and conversation.
